About Shelli Tollman

Shelli Tollman’s work is rooted in her upbringing in South Africa during the apartheid era. It addresses issues of diversity, myth and memory. Tollman has exhibited at numerous galleries in Los Angeles including Las Cienegas Projects and The Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, Hollywood. She received her BFA in 2005 from The Boston Museum School of Fine Arts. She also studied at The University of Cape Town and at WITS University in Johannesburg.
